Introducing
Jacquelyn Dickey
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Jacquelyn was introduced
to the world of horses at a very early age. Her father bred,
raised and trained Morgan horses, while Jacquelyn was in the saddle
showing
at the tender age of two. Later in life, after marrying a
Coast Guard
Officer and starting her own family, her desire to show Hunters and
Jumpers led her to Mystic
Valley Hunt Club where she apprenticed for Sally Hinkle and Roberta
Boylan and embarked on an instructional career. A Coast Guard
transfer
to Maryland led her to a job with Sharon Brandis Myers
where Jacquelyn
was introduced to the beauty of Dressage. It was Gina Miles
in
California that introduced Jacquelyn to the world of Three Day Eventing
which would become her training and teaching passion.
Jacquelyn has combined the skills obtained from these proven trainers,
and others,
with the knowledge she has gained from personal experiences to
create a
program that is time-tested, yet fresh and innovative.
Jacquelyn's training philosophy
results from years of study with many great horsemen and women of all
disciplines.
